Hello and welcome to Little Beehive in His Kingdom!

My name is Chantell van der Merwe, and I am blessed to be the founder and principal of this Christ-centered preschool. I am a devoted wife, mother of four wonderful children, and a passionate early childhood educator who has seen firsthand the goodness and faithfulness of God.

This preschool is not just a school — it’s a calling. Little Beehive was born from a deep desire to create a place where children are not only educated but deeply loved, guided by God’s truth, and nurtured in their early walk of faith.

In 2023, God opened the door for me to start my second school — a beautiful testimony of His restoration in my life. What was once lost, He has restored, and I stand in awe of His perfect timing and grace. I truly believe in the promise of Deuteronomy 31:6:

"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified... for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Through every challenge, my eyes have remained fixed on Him. We live by the principle found in Matthew 6:33 — “Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”

Our school is a living testimony that when we put Him first, everything else truly falls into place. With the support of my loving husband, who stands beside me and believes in this vision, we have built a space where children can grow with confidence, joy, and purpose. At Little Beehive, we plant seeds of faith, love, and learning — and trust that God will grow them in His perfect way.
